Bryan Danielson / Daniel Bryan vs. Miro / Rusev (AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Final), from AEW Full Gear 2021

Danielson has such a gift for wrestling that even when he isn't working a twelve-star classic, it still looks like he's going through a real fight. For a match that was put together in ten days, this was very good, Miro not quite keeping pace with Danielson but still looking like a million bucks, invaluable if he is to be a significant part of the company going forward. It didn't go too long, everything was sensible, and it was entertaining, making for one of Danielson's worst high profile matches in a while. I wish more had off nights like this.
