These two have wrestled enough times to find a rapport, make interesting alterations to their formula, and have the whole thing buried six feet deep through pure repetition. In other words, this shouldn’t have been half as good as it was, but they opt in on ludicrous spectacle that succeeded in getting the crowd completely on their side. Remove the big spot from the match and you’d still have one of the funniest main events WWE has ever broadcast, but that one spot is already approaching iconic status and this match is barely a week old. Though: please, never again.
