Black Mirror (The Entire History of You)

“No more, gone are those days and ways have parted / Gone from feeling solid trust to outsmarted” -Alias, “Watching Water”

It is saying a lot that “The Entire History of You” is the most difficult episode of “Black Mirror”’s first series, with an unlikeable protagonist and a concept that takes a while to pay off, but there’s a reason this was optioned to be a full picture. Would our lives be made more whole by having a greater glimpse of the big picture? “Ignorance is bliss” is often used as a kissoff, but the phrase had to start somewhere.
