Big Show / The Giant / Paul Wight vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, from WWE Survivor Series 2002

I've come to terms with that this match needed to happen to suit the company's long-term plans (long story short, this was a key component in building and protecting the main event of the upcoming WrestleMania), but just because this match needed to happen doesn't mean the match is good. Big Show in jeans is worst Show, and while the match is kept thankfully short, this feels more like a fifteen-minute match with ten minutes cut out than a killer five-minute match. It's a match that values its function in storyline above its own spectacle, and those rarely age well.
