Bianca Belair vs. Io Shirai vs. Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship, from WWE NXT TakeOver: New York

If every other match on this show were terrible okay, let’s not go overboard. I was underwhelmed on my first watch, registering it as a decent sprint held back by Bianca Belair, but a second viewing had the whole thing clicking for me. Belair IS the weak link in the match, but that’s an unfair comparison considering half the field are the best workers in the world, and that she keeps up with them means she might be closer to being able to anchor NXT’s women’s division than the last TakeOver hinted. The second-best fatal four-way contested over this championship.
