Battle Angel Alita Volume Two: Tears of an Angel

The cast list and James Cameron's documented preferences hint this is the volume that inspired him to adapt "Alita" to film, and it's likely he'll tell the story better than what's conveyed here. The latter half of "Alita"'s version of "Romeo and Juliet" is strong, but the manga rushes so quickly through the paces of their falling in love that I'm honestly not sure every version I've read contained a misprint that omitted the part where the boy learned the girl is a killing machine. At the very least, leaving the arc's last issue for volume three is some BS.
