Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret (2023 film)

Not being the primary demographic for this film, nor having ever been the primary demographic for this sort of project, means some moments that are probably supposed to register as “relatable” and “makes one feel seen” came across as “kind of interesting” to me; I imagine this is how many young women reacted to “The Sandlot”. That said, I still regard “Margaret” as quite good, arguably great, with a bevy of hysterical scenes, more insights into *ahem* certain topics than I thought a PG film would go to, and McAdams making for an outstanding secondary protagonist. Didn’t deserve to bomb.
