Are You Afraid of the Dark? (The Tale of Station 109.1)

Retrospective media plays this up as “the Ryan Gosling episode”, but truth be told, Gilbert Gottfried is most of the reason this episode is worth watching. The bulk of the episode is the usual sort of “I’m not yet dead yet but I kind of am and might stay dead if I don’t blah blah blah” uninspired crap, and the actor playing the protagonist is too wooden to take seriously. Gottfried’s turn as the DJ of death, however, has more than enough energy to pick up the slack, and every other line of his is instantly quotable. Bless this man.
