All the Crows in the World

I haven’t seen every short film up for the Short Film Palme d’Or in 2021, but there’s no way this was the best of the bunch. This is a social satire(? I guess?) about creepy old men and the young women who roll their eyes when they act like creepy old men and it is neither artistically thoughtful enough to strike as anywhere nearing transcendence nor tasteless enough to register as admirable for its audacity. It’s better than the Best Short winner at that year’s Oscars and there’s a nice shot near the end, but you’re fine skipping this one.
