AEW Fyter Fest 2019

The pre-show, between the bad librarians gimmick and Alex Jebailey wrestling for almost ten minutes, had me scared this would be AEW’s first bad show, and whether there was a legit equipment malfunction or not, the chair shot to the head was just not cool. Aside from that, though, there’s plenty to recommend about “Fyter Fest”. The women’s three-way match was the highlight of the night for me, but one could also make cases for the six-man tag, the lights out match, and Darby Allin dying for our sins. A damn great, effortless watch, though, again, fuck that chair spot.
