Absolver
Perhaps the worst part of “Absolver” is how it makes “Sifu” look good in comparison. That game may have multitudinous issues that render it difficult to recommend, but at least it dresses up its crappy combat system with enough flair that it feels like things are happening. “Absolver” feels like roshambo played in molasses, seemingly rendered (somehow) in Sony’s “Dreams” engine, except even that only hints at the crushing tedium conveyed by its fighting; if it weren’t for the depleting health bars, you’d swear nothing is happening. A complete failure of a game judged by any significant metric. Avoid this.
