13 Sins
13 Sins is about a guy in overwhelming debt that is tasked with completing 13 objectives of increasingly rancid nature to earn riches. It is a concept that can go in a lot of tonal directions, and the film settles on dark comedy for most of its runtime, including a five-minute sequence where it turns into Weekend at Bernie’s, but it takes an odd turn towards reflective and contemplative near the end. There are too many twists in too short a span to register as effective, and the ending is far too rushed. Worth watching until the wheels fall off.
